THE PEACEFUL LEADERS OF OUR CHURCH

In St Stephen’s Anglican Church currently we have a new vicar called Ven. Chukwuemeka Nwaogu; he is a man of his word, faithful to God and his church and ready to push the Word of God forward. He started his reign as a vicar in this church on the 30th of September, 2024. Before he became a vicar in this church, he served as a curate under VENERABLE G. I. ONUOHA from the year 2002 to 2005 and also under VENERABLE FRANCIS AKUNNE from the year 2005 to 2008. He likes preaching the word of the Lord to all.

Ven. Chukwuemeka Nwaogu, a native of Imo State, is a dedicated minister known for his steady faith, passionate spirit, and God’s treatment of people with humility and integrity, inspired by a deep sense of purpose and the desire to support others in their spiritual journey. Venerable Chukwuemeka pursued ministerial training that strengthened both his theological understanding and pastoral skills.  He has been recognised for his calm leadership style, warm presence and the clarity with which he shares the word of God. His ministry emphasises hope, unity, and moral responsibility, and he remains passionate about nurturing a church environment where every member feels seen, valued, and supported spiritually.
